The Global HR SIG Presents:
Attracting and Retaining Talent Through Use of Effective Mobility Practices

This event has been submitted for HRCI Global recertification credits and SHRM-CP recertification credits.

There are many attributes to attracting and retaining talent.  Employee development, organizational objectives and mobility are critically linked together when relocating key talent to a new location.  How it’s handled can greatly impact the outcome, and finding the balance between cost and effective service delivery is often challenging.  Especially for those who rarely relocate someone, the choices can be overwhelming.  In this session, we will discuss the considerations in setting policy on the benefits offered, the delivery of services for the move itself and how to successfully transition back from an assignment.

Speakers:  Larry Brouder, Global Vice President of Business Development, Kinetix Logistics & Christine Haney, EVP, Global Relocation and Referral Services, Douglas Elliman

Larry Brouderis in Global Vice President of Business Development at Kinetix, an international relocation and logistics service provider.  For over 20 years, Larry has worked within the Global Mobility industry, designing mobility programs and systems and managing the creation of domestic service delivery platforms, policy consulting services, and international relocation programs.  More recently, he has been consulting on global mobility strategy, HR strategy, and expatriate comp and tax programs.

Larry has an advanced level of specialization in international assignment services, domestic and international policy, immigration, and global security components.  He spent a number of years as Director of HR Shared Services for the nation’s largest privately held engineering firm, leading benefits, global mobility, business continuity, and global talent management programs, and designing security and pandemic protocols.

Larry is a regular speaker at industry events on topics including Expatriate and Intercultural Programs, Immigration, Global Security, and Business Continuity Protocol.  He lives in Guilford, CT with his family.

Christine Haney has over 20 years in Corporate Relocation and Real Estate experience, including increased managerial responsibilities over various departments.  She currently operates as the EVP of Global Relocation and Referral Services for Douglas Elliman, the 4th largest real estate company in the USA.
