In dialogue, speakers will share different examples and perspectives on how to build a strong coaching culture, reflecting their individual viewpoints -- internal, external, coaches, HR professionals -- and experience working with a variety of different organizations. Attendees will be invited to submit questions in advance and have opportunities to ask questions and engage during the virtual event.

Objective:

To understand the needs, impact and strategic context of building coaching cultures in organizations -- a how to for those looking to start or expand coaching programs, or to be employed as a coach in an organization

Key findings and trends captured in the latest ICF study: Building Strong Coaching Culture for the Future will set the stage for the evening’s discussion that will delve into following considerations:

  • What is the strategic context for each stage of coaching and what factors do organizations consider when designing programs, e.g., key drivers, budget, governance, access?
  • What are the key programmatic components at each stage or scale, e.g., who is coached, what modalities (internal, external, group/team, managerial and other), prioritization, participation, etc?
  • How does coaching integrate into an organization?
  • How are programs being measured and monitored to demonstrate impact, to refine and continuously improve, and to justify return on investment when compared to or in combination with other talent investment opportunities?  What does success look like?
  • How are coaches hired and sourced, and what qualifications or profile do the strongest candidates bring?
