Changing the Conversation: Transforming Mobility for the Future


Talent mobility is expanding into an increasingly strategic role in successful organizations; supporting business growth and developing leaders equipped to meet the challenges of the globalized world. Today’s business climate is changing at an accelerated pace, where companies must continually adapt to stay ahead. During this session, Jennifer Rowe will share the results of BGRS’s 22nd annual Talent Mobility Trends Survey which explores how talent mobility is transforming, the scale and drivers of this change and how companies manage change to drive successful business outcomes.


This session will provide 1.0 Global HRCI / SHRM credits.

Jennifer Rowe manages BGRS Talent Mobility Consulting Practice’s global business development and marketing strategies with a focus on Talent Development. As an experienced speaker focused on talent development practices, Jennifer has represented the organization at numerous conferences, seminars and web-seminars. Additionally, she has authored articles that have been published in Mobility Magazine and HRO Today as well as written white papers. Jennifer originally joined BGRS in May 1998 working in International Operations before joining the Talent Development Group in 2003. Having lived in five countries, Jennifer has first-hand experience with international relocation and cultural adjustment. Besides spending time on both the west and east coasts of the United States, she has lived and taught in university and corporate environments in Brno, Czech Republic; studied in London, England and Florence, Italy; and San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico where she lived for seven years. Jennifer speaks Spanish, French, Italian and conversational Czech. Jennifer holds Global Mobility Specialist (GMS) and Strategic Talent Mobility (GMS-T) designations from ERC, a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL)/Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) Certificate and a certificate from the Intercultural Communication Institute in Training Design. She received a B.A. in Art History and Newspaper Journalism from Syracuse University.
