Organizational Development & Change Management SIG Presents:

Creatives and AI: The Dawn of a New Workforce

HR teams will play a huge role in the change management process needed to support the integration of a digital workforce alongside the human workforce. You can mitigate the risks of transition to a new way of working by educating the workforce and management early on and developing a roadmap for introducing a fully integrated environment.

Please join the OD & Change SIG of NYC SHRM for a panel presentation on the topic of Artificial Intelligence and its applications for workforce planning.

Through This Session You Will Learn How to:

  • Describe how HR recruits talent, oversees business needs and encourages training and personal development in the era of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
  • Distinguish tasks suited for humans such as creative thinking and those for machines such as accessing large amounts of data and repetitive tasks
  • Explain how AI allows for more enjoyable, strategic and creative job roles
  • Describe how people and machines working together will bring more productivity and increased revenues.
  • Identify the benefits to AI such as increased efficiency, lower costs, and fewer risks associated with human error.
  • Identify the uniquely human skills to recruit for in the era of artificial intelligence (AI) such as strategic thinking, creativity, improving business systems, and programming algorithms (great to get more insight here).
  • Describe how AI contributes to enhancing the employee experience
  • Describe how staff can transition to leveraging AI in a non-threatening, productive manner through engagement and support.

Our esteemed panelists include:

Duke Daehling - Partner, Global Talent & Engagement at IBM

Andre Medes - Computer Science PhD candidate at NYU
