Workforce Readiness SIG Event:
2nd Anniversary of NYC’s Ban the Box – Are you sure you are complying?

Two years ago, NYC implemented the Fair Chance Act, among the strongest “ban the box” laws in the nation.  This law covers workers in New York City and applies to most all employers.

Are you sure you are complying?

“Banning the box” means stopping the practice of including questions about criminal conviction history on initial job applications.  Under the Fair Chance Act, employers must “ban the box,” and there are other requirements as well designed to level the playing field for applicants with criminal conviction histories.

Please join our distinguished speakers who will focus on NYC’s Fair Chance Act and Correction Law Article 23-A: What You Need to Know. for your workplace -
